Spray Dry Class E Positions - Nights Openings (6pm-6am)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Spray Dry
Class E openings in Spray Dry include:
The Pre/Post Cook in its most basic form consists of making fresh cheese batches, including changing
batch sizes, adding whey powder to the cook mix so that it can be dried by the dryer. The operator also needs to be familiar with sanitation practices and processes.

The Cook Room Operator in its most basic form consists of mixing/cooking cheese powder prior to sending it to whey hydration while continuing to ensure food safety. The operator also needs to be familiar with sanitation practices and processes.

The Dryer Operator in its most basic form consists of drying cheese with a spray dryer. The operator also needs to be familiar with sanitation practices and processes.

For all areas listed above:
Press switches and turn knobs to start, adjust, and regulate equipment such as hoppers, impact wrenches, conveyors and hand trucks. Become familiar with the set up and operation of all required equipment.
Observe and listen to equipment to detect possible malfunctions, such as rubbing, binding or plugging up, and report malfunctions to the Team Leader or Maintenance. Ability knowledge of screen/ magnet checks and equipment inspections. Water/ hydraulic/ equipment leaks reported.
Accurate and Timely SAP entries.
Complete Sanitation as needed.
Work in a team based environment.
Familiar with Quality programs as outlined in QRMP such as GMP's, Traceability, HACCP, Allergens, CCP, hold process and verifying raw ingredients.
Perform other duties as directed by plant leadership as needed for efficient operations.
When proficient train employees.

Qualifications:
*High School Diploma/GED Required
*At least 1 yr previous manufacturing experience preferred
*Previous food manufacturing experience a plus
*Use of motorized hand truck is required (training provided)
*Use of forktruck (PIT) is required (training provided)
*Must wear PPE (ear protection, steel-toed shoes, bump cap/ hard hat, sanitation gear)
*Must be dedicated to personal safety and food safety
