We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. Responsible for performing professional accounting activities in a corporate or plant finance organization. Accounting activities performed may include posting, summarizing, analyzing, reconciling, auditing, ledger maintenance, statement and report preparation. This role will coordinate global and plant projects and liaison with multiple functions and peers across multiple regions. Must have a working knowledge of general accounting principles and methods; project management skills, exceptional analytical and communication skills, ability to work in fast-paced environment with multiple changing priorities, proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet systems; understanding of management control concepts, cost accounting, budgeting principals and forecasting techniques; written and oral communication skills with all levels both within and outside of the company; and possess leadership qualities and the ability to present financial data to management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate One Ignition Project Implementation in multiple facilities
  • Coordinate Standardization of Standard Cost Concepts globally
  • Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain records of Asset, Liabilities, Profit & Loss or other activities within the organization.
  • Assist with month end close activities which may include posting, summarizing, analyzing, reconciling, auditing, ledger maintenance, statement and report preparation. Reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Develops methods in which to improve the tracking and metrics of: efficiency, productivity, and budgetary control to each of the value streams.
  • Prepares various statistical reports, as required by Management to assist with Business decisions and development.
  • Understand SOX and Financial Controls to help in decision making and testing.
  • Provide support as requested by manager.
  • Communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Be a team player, hands-on, and react quickly to change.

Required Experience

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is required

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 plus years of experience in a manufacturing environment, Cost Accounting and Project Management experience is a plus.
  • Specific proficiency levels for each job skill required are defined in the Skills Requirement Checklist for this job title.
  • Excellent computer skills with demonstrated experience in multiple and complex systems (Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Proficiency in using Pivot Tables is required.
  • Experience in SAP or Plex is strongly preferred.
  • Very strong analytical skills, enabling to quickly understand the drivers of a business process (sales, purchasing, supply chain, production.
  • Strong people skills, along with presentation skills.
