Quality Assurance Associate- Nights

Monday - Thursday 5:30 PM to 4 AM

$18.00+ $1.00 night shift differential

$2,000 Retention Bonus!

COVID pandemic measures:

There are several sanitation stations around the location and provide masks and gloves.

We do sanitation and disinfection of equipment as well as common areas several times a day.

Essential Functions
  • Must comply with all EH&S regulations for the protection of the environment and maintain safe working conditions.
  • Policies, procedures, and work instructions must be adhered to for quality assurance and customer satisfaction.
  • Inspect packaging, product, and paperwork for customer compliance.
  • Maintain accurate data for reporting metrics, continuous improvement, and corrective actions.
Duties
  • Conduct product audits in all departments, taking measurements and keeping accurate records to ensure compliance with customer quality standards.
  • Reject or place on hold defective parts for further research.
  • Correspond with customers or internal associates regarding deviations in quality standards.
  • Information exchange and problem solving may contain some discussion about confidential and/or sensitive matters requiring tact and discretion.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

Requirements
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
  • Perform math computations and statistical analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to interface with all levels of the organization in a professional manner.
  • High level of computer competency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Work independently and possess good organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle the pressure of deadlines, coupled with frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to become familiar with operating practices of a distribution center.
  • Employee must be certified in-house to operate powered industrial vehicles, if applicable.
  • Basic knowledge of blue prints, calipers, and filing.

Required Experience

Physical Demands
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. The employee frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may be exposed to heights up to 30 feet. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles, and can be exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold including climates consistent with outside weather conditions.
Training
  • Intermediate computer experience.
