Physician Recruiter

Surgery Partners, a leading operator of surgical facilities and ancillary services with more than 180 locations nationwide is seeking a Physician Recruiter for our Southeast Wisconsin market. We are committed to recruiting top-tier physicians who share our passion for excellence in patient care.

As a Physician Recruiter, you will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and hiring talented physicians to join our team. You will collaborate closely with leadership to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. Your primary goal will be to attract and retain skilled physicians who align with our organization's values and mission.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree strongly preferred (e.g., Healthcare Administration, Business Administration).

EXPERIENCE:

  • Five (5) years of successful Physician Recruitment in the healthcare hospital and ambulatory surgical center experience required
  • Hospital/Clinic experience is a must
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and credentialing processes.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for job fairs, conferences, and candidate meetings.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and maintain relationships with medical schools, residency programs, and other healthcare organizations to identify potential candidates.
  • Source and screen candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.
  • Conduct interviews and assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate interview schedules and facilitate candidate evaluations.
  • Negotiate employment offers and contracts in collaboration with legal and HR departments.
  • Develop and implement recruitment marketing campaigns to attract top talent.
  • Track recruitment metrics and provide regular reports to management.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor practices, and regulatory changes affecting physician recruitment.
