Physician - Pulmonary / Critical Care - Maplewood & Woodbury, MN

We are seeking a Pulmonary / Critical Care Physician to join our practice at the M Health Fairview St. John's Hospital and Lung Clinic in Maplewood, MN.

Practice Highlights:

The Pulmonary/Critical Care physician will devote their clinical effort to providing high quality clinical care in community-based hospitals and outpatient pulmonary medicine practice settings.

  • The primary clinical effort will be at the M Health Fairview in Maplewood and the M Health Fairview in Woodbury, MN with possible coverage at other hospitals within the M Health Fairview system. The outpatient pulmonary practice is the M Health Fairview in .

  • Collaborative group practice with a large internal referral base that includes 17 physicians and 5 advance practice providers.

  • Patients are admitted to St. John's Hospital in Maplewood, which has a 20 bed ICU. Will see approximately 10-12 patients per day in the ICU.

  • Will be a part of the ICU night, weekend, and holiday rotations.

  • There are approximately 12 weeks of outpatient clinic time per year. May see between 8 and 16 patients/day in the clinic setting, depending upon the number of follow-up appointments.

  • Support staff includes respiratory therapy, RN's, pharmacy, and nutrition.

  • Procedures include Bronchoscopy and PFT.

  • EPIC EMR used throughout the healthcare system.

  • St. John's Hospital is a 184-bed community hospital with 20 ICU beds, and 31 specialty services serving the eastern metro.

  • Woodwinds Hospital is an 86-bed community hospital with 8 ICU beds, and 25 specialty services serving the southeast metro.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited ACGME Internal Medicine residency and Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine fellowship-training program.

  • Board certified with the ABIM in internal medicine and board eligible/certified in pulmonary and critical care.

  • Licensed or ability to acquire medical license and DEA in the State of Minnesota and meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.

  • Ability to receive work authorization in the United States from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and maintain legal status according to the requirements of the VISA.
